Sean Williams, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP has joined CPL as Vice President and Regional Healthcare Leader in the firm’s Tampa office, where he will support clients across Florida and the Southeast. His responsibilities include expanding the practice, mentoring staff and connecting clients with planning, advisory, architecture and engineering services.
Williams previously served as President of Carbon Design & Architecture. His more than 30 years of experience include healthcare, science and technology, higher education, hospitality and adaptive reuse projects. He has worked with Tampa General Hospital, HCA Healthcare, Orlando Health and AdventHealth.
His work beyond healthcare includes cultural and community-focused environments. CPL said that broader background informs planning and design intended to improve facility operations and the experiences of patients, families and caregivers.
The appointment comes as CPL expands its Southeast presence. Williams’ work will support organizations weighing facility modernization, access to care and long-term capital investments.
