AIR PURIFICATION

Steril-Aire’s UVC emitters are suited for hospitals, medical offices, hospices, clinics, and laboratories. The hospital air purification technology may be used for infection control or general IAQ, with operational and energy savings, according to the manufacturer.

The company’s single-ended emitters provide a very high output germicidal light source for HVAC systems. They install from the exterior of HVAC equipment, making them ideal for germicidal sites that are difficult to access.

Installation involves making a 1-inch hole in the equipment wall and/or duct, and then mounting the fixture to the unit exterior. Only the lamp or tube penetrates into the system, while the power supply remains external.

The germicidal lamp emitters can be used with fan coils, heat pumps, unit ventilators, terminal units and ductwork, and are available in six tube lengths (16”, 20”, 24”, 30”, 36” and 42”) and four voltage options (115, 208, 230 or 277 Vac.)
