ROOM CONTROLLERS

From Phoenix Controls, the Traccel Room Controller is designed for use in variable air volume temperature control applications where consistently directional airflow is critical. The controller maintains an offset between the volume air being supplied to the room and the volume being exhausted, thus maintaining room pressurization and directional airflow.

The device comes from the factory with an on-board microprocessor that holds 48-point flow characterization curves for the supply and exhaust valves serving the room. This data is used to control flow-tracking between the two valves. A rise in temperature above the room set point causes the supply valve to open, allowing more air into the room.
