The Board of Directors for Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) named Alan Levine president and CEO, effective Jan. 6, 2014. Levine has more than 20 years of experience in hospital operations and in public service. He has led large, complex, multi-hospital organizations as well as leading two state health systems as the senior regulator and health policy advisor to two governors.

Strong oversaw her own interiors practice for more than 10 years and has served other interior design firms in a similar leadership role.

Huey has more than 25 years of experience in the design of new and expanded facilities for medical, educational, military and private-sector clients. Arup, a multidisciplinary engineering and consulting firm, announced Katie Wood, principal, has transferred to the firm’s Toronto office where she will have an integral role in the Americas health care team and lead the development of the health care business in Canada. Wood relocated from Sydney, where she was the health lead for Arup across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.

The new corporate vice president of innovation and technology at HSM, Gregg Greulich, will lead and manage the team to ensure development of transportation and furniture solutions for certain markets such as health care. Coming to the firm with 12 years of management experience in engineering as well as research and development, Greulich previously served as senior director at Evenflo Company Inc. and later managed infant care durable product programs.
Paul Whitson, AIA, joins HOK’s St. Louis practice as senior vice president and health care principal.
