Fi-Foil Company Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of energy-efficient reflective insulation and radiant barriers, has developed a new “tape-tab” version of its VR Plus Shield High-Perm, a multi-layer reflective insulation designed specifically for furred-out masonry walls. High-Perm, a three-layer reflective insulation commonly used on 1-5/8-inch metal hat channel, has an R-value of 7.0.
Normally the insulation is installed using a spray adhesive to secure the tabs to metal furring.
Setra Systems Inc. introduces its new Model 260, “one-size-fits-all” low-differential pressure transducer. The model offers user-selectable pressure ranges and analog outputs, a standard LCD and AC/DC excitation on voltage output operation. At a standard accuracy of 1% FS, the transducer is unique in providing fixed-range performance for all selectable ranges.
Hoshizaki America Inc. introduces the KM-255 BAH Crescent Cuber Ice Machine with built-in storage. The unit produces up to 235 lbs. of ice within 24 hours with a built-in storage bin holding 120 lbs. The self contained design is available as an air-cooled model. KM-255 BAH Unit is protected by an antimicrobial agent, within the ice-making zone.
The newly formulated SHEETROCK brand dust control joint compound from USG has a quality that binds dust particles together and creates a “heavy dust” that, when sanded, falls straight to the floor. This compound produces the same finish as other all-purpose muds, without the cloud of dust. It helps make prep time and cleanup faster, according to the company.
The ready-mix product is suited for all types of remodeling products. It weighs up to 35 percent less than conventional compounds, making handling, application and sanding more effective.

Wilsonart Commercial Flooring announces 10 new product additions for its Contact Design line. The additions include new designs, a 5-inch narrow plank format and a micro-bevel edge treatment.
The line now features 27 different wood grain designs, including traditional oak, cherry and birch patterns, and more exotic species, such as mahogany, walnut and rosewood. Special-order 15.5-inch square tiles are also available in a variety of natural stone looks. The line features the manufacturer’s technology that uses two tongue-and-groove joints for extra strength.
One of DRI-STEEM’s Vapor-logic3 master controllers can control the steam production of up to 16 of the company’s humidifiers. The controller anticipates increased relative humidity demand and preheats humidifier tanks as needed to provide a rapid response to demand changes.

The product offers 4-20 mA outputs, relays, and RS 232/RS 485. The monitor is UL approved to UL 60601-1, IEC 60601-1 and CSA 22.2 No. 601.1.
