One trend in health care is the need for seamless bariatric seating that looks the same as standard seating and therefore is not offensive to the person who needs to use it. Spec Furniture now offers the Midway series of public seating with the option of a high-back bariatric for the patient room. It can be specified as freestanding or connected, with options for lounge tables, ottomans, and poly or wood arms. Medium-back bariatric chairs are also available.
