It was a time of financial desperation for The Memorial Hospital in the late 1980s. In an effort to turn the hospital around, TMH signed a contract with Quorum Health Resources, a hospital management company based in Brentwood, Tenn. The most recent QHR contract was negotiated and signed in 2004, and is slated to expire June 30.
