Stainless Steel Strainers

Miller-Leaman Inc. introduces the stainless steel Thompson Strainers, designed for cooling tower water, chilled water and process cooling. The strainers are available with a variety of screen mesh options, ranging from large perforated hole-openings to 50-micron. All models operate with less than a 1-PSI pressure loss when clean.

The strainers can be customized to fit specific requirements and outfitted with optional instrumentation packages, including a pressure differential alarm package and automatic timer flush package.

NDS Inc. expanded its drainage product line with the Dura Slope trench drain system. An alternative to concrete products, the system is engineered to intercept and collect surface water runoff and is compatible with 3-, 4-, 6- and 8-inch pipes. It consists of an in-line catch basin, 24 presloped channels and nine neutral channel sections.

Sloped channel sections enable the system to extend to 96 feet and neutral channels can be added on for increased lengths of up to 266 feet.

Willoughby Industries manufacturers the B1490 toilet series for use in bariatric environments. It can withstand loads of up to 2,000 pounds and features a hinge-open front seat that is rated for 1,200-pound capacity.

The toilet is made with heavygauge stainless steel, which is coated with a gloss-white powder coat enamel, giving the product the appearance of a china-like finish.

Willoughby Industries Inc. introduces an ADA-compliant solid surface shower base with an integral trench drain. It is designed to help eliminate standing water outside of ADA shower bases. The unit is a molded, one-piece design and incorporates a 1-inch-deep drain at the front of the base.

The trench drain is pitched to allow water to drain rather than flow out of the base onto the floor. The product is manufactured with the company’s Aquasurf solid surface.

A&E Industries offers a padded toilet back support system to protect residents in nursing homes and hospitals from injuries that can be incurred from falling onto unprotected toilet pipes and flush valves. Constructed of chrome-plated steel tubing, each back support unit is cushioned in closed-cell vinyl/nitrile rubber foam that is virtually non-absorbent. The vinyl coating completely encapsulates the cushion padding to prevent moisture or fluid entrapment.

The chrome-plated, die-cast metal faucets, featuring single-hole European styling, fit a variety of installation applications. Various decorative finish options are available, and trim plates may be ordered for sinks with three-hole punchings.

Models with the Integral Spout Temperature Mixer, which are intended for hospital rooms, executive restrooms and other locations, include a lever that lets users adjust the water temperature.

Mincey Marble Manufacturing offers Diamond Panel Tub/Shower Surrounds in 60-inch, 74-inch, and 88-inch heights. Existing tubs, showers and whirlpool tubs can be upgraded with the decorative look of tile without the grout lines. Clients can choose two soap dishes, either wall mount or corner mount. The panel is available in gloss finish with 22 x 3/4 inch trim.

Diamond Panel Surrounds are offered in Mincey Classic or Mincor. Mincor is Class A rated per ASTM 384. According to Mincey, cultured marble meets most interior and architectural design standards.
