Compact Lavatory

The new LavCare 840 from Bradley Corp. combines a lavatory and water closet for patient rooms and intensive care units. Taking up 40 inches of floor space, the unit features a fully functional sink and an ADA-compliant toilet with a fold-down seat cover. Built-in bedpan washers and spray attachments help medical staff to remove waste without having to leave the patient’s room.

A seamless Terreon solid surface countertop helps eliminate bacteria and backsplash, and a no-drop edge keeps the counter clean and the floor dry. The 9-inch sink bowl can accommodate large items for washing, and features a stepped area allowing for IV bag drainage. The stainless steel water closet can withstand a static load of up to 5,000 pounds and has a stainless toe kick for added durability. The sink is also available in stainless steel. Low-flow faucets are available, including infrared sensor and foot-pedal controlled hands-free options.
