Min Shu

Min Shu, RAC, MRAIC, has joined Perkins Eastman as a Principal in the global architecture and design firm’s studio in Shanghai, China. Shu brings more than 25 years of design experience across multiple practice areas, including healthcare, science and technology, urban design, hospitality, commercial, and education.

After earning a Bachelor of Architecture from Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China, and a Master of Architecture from McGill University in Montreal, Shu gained architectural expertise with leading design firms in both China and Canada. He coordinated design teams across offices and led projects of several practice types, including office, hotel, office parks, university campus, hospital, and large mixed-use development. Most recently, he acted as Principal and Project Director of the Shanghai office at SmithGroup.

Having worked on different hospital projects across China, he leverages a well-honed awareness and strong passion for healthcare design, as well as a keen eye for hospital design trends. Select projects include Shenzhen People’s Hospital Emergency Center, Beijing Capital Pediatric Research Institute Affiliated Hospital, Nanjing Jianbei Public Health Center, and Nanjing Jiangbei Mental Hospital. Projects in other practice areas include Alibaba Quantum Lab, Taiping Finance Center, and Wanxiang Innova City Master Planning.
