Infection Resistant Fabrics

A line of infection-control fabrics with stain-resistant qualities is the latest offering from Clickeze Privacy Systems, a division of InPro Corporation. The Shield line of fabrics uses positively charged silane-based molecules that modify the fabric they protect. Instead of leeching into the surrounding fabric, the application remains permanently fixed to it. When a microbe comes into contact with the treated fabric, the technology destroys the cell.

In addition to their infection-fighting properties, the fabrics also offer stain resistance and allow for simple cleanup using a damp cloth with a household detergent. All fabrics retain their infection-fighting properties through repeated thermal washings.
