Setra Systems Inc. introduces its new Model 260, “one-size-fits-all” low-differential pressure transducer. The model offers user-selectable pressure ranges and analog outputs, a standard LCD and AC/DC excitation on voltage output operation. At a standard accuracy of 1% FS, the transducer is unique in providing fixed-range performance for all selectable ranges.

Perma Pure’s MD-Series and MDH-Series dryers remove excess water vapor to keep TOC analyzers in laboratory, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, water and industrial applications free from damage and inaccurate results. Using patented Nafion membrane technology, the dryers selectively remove only water vapor from gas samples, leaving the carbon dioxide concentration intact for TOC measurement.

With this one- step drying solution there is no need for a drip leg, peltier cooler, or desiccant canister. Without moving parts, the dryers are reliable and require no routine maintenance.

From Phoenix Controls, the Traccel Room Controller is designed for use in variable air volume temperature control applications where consistently directional airflow is critical. The controller maintains an offset between the volume air being supplied to the room and the volume being exhausted, thus maintaining room pressurization and directional airflow.

The device comes from the factory with an on-board microprocessor that holds 48-point flow characterization curves for the supply and exhaust valves serving the room.

The Sigma Air Manager from Kaeser Compressors is designed to balance service hours, prevent simultaneous motor starts and maintain tight pressure control. According to the manufacturer, the device can be adapted to almost any system, and it is capable of managing up to 16 compressors or vacuum pumps, including multiple types and other brands.

The manager incorporates an industrial PC with Internet technology, alerts operators to service requirements and provides trending data for plan operational analysis.

A new product from Electro Static Technology is designed to improve the reliability of HVAC/R systems by dramatically extending the life of AC motors commonly used in HVAC/R systems to drive fans, air pumps, chillwater pumps, compressors and other air-handling equipment. The device protects bearings from the electrical damage commonly incurred when currents discharge through the motor bearings, causing frosting, pitting, fusion craters and fluting.
