POWER CONTROL SOFTWARE

SCADA software for power control systems, new from Russelectric, provides interactive monitoring, real-time and historical trending, comprehensive reporting, distributed networking and alarm management.

Operators use full-color, point-and-click, interactive computer screen displays at the system console to monitor and control a facility’s entire power system. Displays use color codes to indicate the system’s status and the positions of all power-switching devices. Operating parameters are displayed and updated in real time; flashing lights on the switchgear annunciator panel also flash on the console screen.

The system is designed either to stand alone or function as part of a network. When networked, data can be accessed either locally or remotely.
