ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — An existing parking lot near All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine in St. Petersburg will soon become an $85 million research and education building. The new 225,000-square-foot facility will hold a large, 250-seat auditorium and state-of-the-art labs and simulation space, according to Jonathan Ellen, All Children’s Hospital’s CEO.
PORT HURON, Mich. — McLaren Port Huron’s board of trustees recently approved $162 million for the expansion and renovation of the hospital’s campus in Port Huron, located about 60 miles northeast of Detroit.
WASHINGTON — The expansion and renovations for Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C., are on their way to completion in winter 2016. New York-based Turner Construction Company celebrated the hospital’s topping out on Aug. 15.
PITTSFIELD, Maine — Sebasticook Valley Health Hospital reached a major milestone after finishing a nearly $10 million expansion, which included the completion of steel infrastructure in the new inpatient wing.
Mike Peterson, the hospital’s chief administrative officer, said the plan is for the building’s interior will be fully enclosed by the end of December.
The $9.5 million project is also helping the employment situation for many area workers.
