Roppe Corporation, a supplier of commercial rubber and vinyl flooring products and accessories, has added solid vinyl tile to its SafeTcork product line, which provides added safety against slip hazards. The vinyl tile, a smooth finish tile available in six of the company’s most popular colors, with a coordinating white marbled design, is a durable formulation of solid vinyl and cork. It is self-coving and self-waxing for easy maintenance and has life cycle costs comparable to rubber.

FLEXCO, a manufacturer of rubber, vinyl and ESD control commercial flooring, offers FlexSafe antimicrobial flooring line. The line’s rubber-based antimicrobial flooring is naturally resistant to mold and bacteria, meeting ASTM G 21 specifications, while the its vinyl flooring has a built-in antimicrobial barrier to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. The company says the line is appropriate for any area where germs can be a potential problem, including hospitals, day care centers, gymnasiums, classrooms and any other area where added hygiene is essential.

Armstrong Commercial Floor Products announces design extensions for both its Timberline and Standard Excelon (Imperial Texture and MultiColor) commercial resilient flooring lines. The extensions bring “exotic wood visuals” to the former line and wide-ranging color enhancements to the latter. Both products meet all current ASTM guidelines and feature a new urethane coating for increased durability.
