Antimicrobial Flooring

FLEXCO, a manufacturer of rubber, vinyl and ESD control commercial flooring, offers FlexSafe antimicrobial flooring line. The line’s rubber-based antimicrobial flooring is naturally resistant to mold and bacteria, meeting ASTM G 21 specifications, while the its vinyl flooring has a built-in antimicrobial barrier to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. The company says the line is appropriate for any area where germs can be a potential problem, including hospitals, day care centers, gymnasiums, classrooms and any other area where added hygiene is essential.

The flooring is available in smooth tile and sheet flooring, rubber tiles and vinyl tiles.

For added protection against bacteria, the rubber and vinyl tiles can be fused together to create a seamless, one-piece floor.
