The STC 3003 Sound Sheet barrier is suitable for layering during the construction of acoustical doors and, in some cases, it can be applied as an outer layer to existing doors, provided it is properly installed with trim strips over its seams.
The barrier can be installed in walls prior to sheetrock application for noise reduction.
