Whalen vice president of business development. Michelle Mahfouz has been appointed as executive vice president and COO for Texas Medical Center. Most recently, Mahfouz worked with Sterling Bank, where she holds 18 years of experience in administration, operations, productivity, human resources and process improvement. Previously, she served as senior vice president for Compass Bank’s business banking division in Houston, Texas. Additionally, Mahfouz held other managerial positions at Bank of America.
