The Sanders Trust chose Cathy B. Nazeer, an industry veteran, to be its new Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In addition to her primary duties for accounting and cash management, Nazeer will be actively involved in the company’s business development and strategic planning efforts. With more than 30 years of financial management experience in the healthcare and real estate development industries, Nazeer served as director of strategic financial planning for Stonegate Realty Company in Birmingham where she was responsible for financial analysis and projections, cash planning and management of annual operating budgets. Her healthcare background includes 15 years of service with Tenet Healthcare Corporation/Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham and Medical City Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
