Global architecture firm DLR Group recently welcomed Ned McKnight to its Phoenix studio as senior associate, where he will use his regional knowledge to leverage the firm’s healthcare presence and practice in the Southwest.
McKnight’s expertise lies in blending healthcare design and sustainability throughout all project stages, resulting in cutting-edge facilities that are easily integrated into their environments. A LEED-accredited professional since 2004, McKnight has gained expertise in smart energy usage and designing high-performance buildings suited for desert settings. He has led notable projects in the area, including the Mayo Clinic Phoenix – AZ Bold Forward East Expansion, Banner Health University Medical Center New Patient Tower and Renovations in Tucson, Ariz., and the Banner Health Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix.
