Henderson Engineers, a national building systems design firm, has announced the appointment of Laura Longoria as outpatient practice director. Longoria is tasked with overseeing client experience, technical quality, innovation, business development, and employee engagement for the business unit focused on outpatient healthcare projects including ambulatory surgery centers, medical office buildings, medtail clinics, pharmacies, and urgent care centers.

Based out of Henderson’s Dallas office, Longoria has held a series of progressively responsible roles in her 19-year career, most recently serving as design and construction director. Her resume spans major projects for both established and emerging industry heavyweights such as Walmart Health, HCA Healthcare, One Medical, Oak Street Health, Compass Surgical Partners, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Longoria is an alum of Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
