Jeff DeRocker, a 15-year construction industry veteran, has joined the Tampa, Florida, office of JE Dunn Construction as a project manager. In this role, DeRocker is involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from the preconstruction phase during which the strategic vision, bid solicitation, scheduling development and awarding of subcontracts are among his responsibilities, to the construction and closeout phases requiring cost management, administration of contracts, safety standards, warranties and as-built documents. Prior to joining JE Dunn, DeRocker was a project manager with another general contractor. His portfolio includes SurgCenter Dunedin, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office North District Station, and Largo High School, all in the state of Florida.
DeRocker is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from University of Florida, where he was active in Sigma Lambda Chi, the International Construction Honor Society.
