Seating Solution Features
Integra Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of high-quality seating and tables for commercial environments, is introducing new features to three seating solutions in its Coastal Collection, including a new Plinth Base and a clean-out option.
The new Plinth Base, now available as an option for the Bay and Marina seating lines, was specifically developed to address the needs of behavioral healthcare facilities. The base offers a secure and stable platform to bolster patient safety while maintaining the contemporary aesthetic of the Bay and Marina seats. The Bay and Marina seats already pass a 1,000 lb. drop test and a 2000 lb. static load test, an industry leading standard for strength and durability. Furthering this accomplishment, the Plinth Base is constructed using a Baltic Birch sub-frame and finished with ¾” thick high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Available in four colors—black, white, gray, and charcoal—the HDPE was chosen for its longevity, durability, and ease of maintenance.
