The decision to open a new office was based on WHR’s recent growth and merger with EYP, an Albany, N.Y.-based architecture firm that specializes in health care, higher education and government projects. HOUSTON — The Woman’s Hospital of Texas has earned the distinction of being a Baby-Friendly-designated birth facility, a designation given by Baby-Friendly USA based in Albany, N.Y. The Woman’s Hospital is the first Houston hospital and the largest in the country to receive the international recognition.

NEW YORK — After reaching a settlement with opponents of the hospital’s expansion, New York Methodist Hospital (NYM) will shrink the size of its new outpatient care center in Brooklyn.
