RF Surgical Systems introduced the RF Assure Delivery System. It is the first device on the market for locating sponges and gauze exclusively designed for the labor and delivery environment. The RF Assure delivery system uses low-energy radio frequency tags in cotton surgical sponges, gauze and towels commonly used in labor and delivery. Most hospitals in the U.S., particularly labor and delivery rooms, rely on traditional manual counting protocols to detect and prevent the occurrences of retained surgical sponges.

Datalogic introduced the QuickScan QBT2400 and QM2400 cordless imagers to the QuickScan 2D imager line of general-purpose handheld scanners. These imagers offer high speed and accuracy while reading 1D codes, various 2D codes and stacked codes such as the PDF417. Wireless mobility helps the operator roam at the point of sale. The QuickScan QBT2400 2D imager employs Bluetooth, allowing transmission of data to the host through its base station, as well as to any commercial or embedded Bluetooth v3.0 device.

Sunburst Chemicals introduces Reliance, a super concentrated, technologically advanced detergent specifically formulated for cleaning linens in front-loading washing machines. Reliance contains wetting agents and detergents that break down surface tension and penetrate deep into soils, removing stains from fabric. The non-ionic active blends keep soils and greases from being able to permanently stain fabrics. Controlled sudsing makes rinsing faster and more effective, even in high-efficiency machines. Reliance is dispensed using a closed-loop dispensing system.

Nora systems has introduced norament xp trac. This newest addition to the norament xp product line is specifically designed to meet the stringent requirements of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) facilities, including enhanced slip resistance and extreme durability. Norament xp trac also offers superior stain resistance, along with underfoot comfort and sound-reducing properties that contribute to a comfortable, quiet environment. The slip resistance is in compliance with OSHA requirements, and the floor covering is available in 3.5-mm tiles and one standard color.
