NewYork-Presbyterian Sets New Sustainable Standard
NEW YORK — The NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has received two distinctions from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for their commitment to sustainability. The hospital was awarded the 2014 Energy Star Partner of the Year — Sustained Excellence Award for its long-term commitment to energy efficiency and the 2014 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year — Climate Communications Awards for its outstanding efforts to raise awareness about climate change through its sustainability initiative, NYPgreen.


University of Colorado Health (UCHealth) named Elizabeth (Liz) B. Concordia president and CEO beginning in September of this year. Concordia comes to UCHealth from University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) where she served as the executive vice president and the president of UPMC’s hospital and community services division.

Adventist HealthCare (AHC) has named Terry Forde its new president and CEO. Forde was chosen as interim chief after the departure of former CEO Bill Robertson but had joined Adventist HealthCare in July 2011. He had previously served as the executive vice president and chief operating officer at AHC where he oversaw the growth of AHC in Maryland. Prior to that, Forde served for eight years as an executive with Centura Health.
