Feds Award Millions for Health Center Construction
WASHINGTON — The Obama administration awarded $35 million to 147 health centers to support patient-centered medical homes through new construction and facility renovations. The health centers are in 44 states.

TeamHealth Holdings, a provider of outsourced physician staffing solutions for hospitals, has appointed Miles S. Snowden, M.D., MPH, as the company’s chief medical officer, effective Sept. 15, 2014. Snowden is replacing Gar LaSalle, M.D., who retired from the position earlier this year.
