Ansell has launched two new designs of chemical gloves to protect hands from exposure to oils, fuels, solvents, bases and esters in both medium- and heavy-duty applications. The new AlphaTec 58-330 and 58-335 gloves help prevent hand injuries related to chemical hazards while maximizing worker comfort via a breakthrough technology that absorbs moisture accumulated from prolonged glove use, according to the company. Each design of glove is equipped with AquaDri, a moisture management technology that mimics a sponge and absorbs moisture at a rate up to 10 times faster than traditional gloves. The high-performance nitrile compound gloves also feature a reversed diamond pattern palm finish for improved dry/wet grip and a foldable cuff gutter to prevent harmful chemicals from dripping onto the forearm.
