Bathtub and Shower Refinishing

Miracle Method is a proprietary resurfacing and refinishing process designed to allow health care facilities to remodel bathrooms quickly. The process replaces old showers, bathtubs, tile and countertops and can save facility managers up to 75 percent over the cost of replacement, according to the company.

While bathtub replacement typically costs between $2,000 and $3,000, Miracle Method’s refinishing ranges between $450 and $550, officials said. The company’s MM-4 bonding agent contains no hydrofluoric acid and creates a molecular bond between old and new surfaces to ensure adhesion of the new coating unlike any other bond used. The buffing and polishing process removes small imperfections. Color and design options are available, including the Natural Accents line with a stone-look finish for showers, countertops, and tile. However, it is also vital that the bathtub or any other expensive installations are covered under a warranty like First American Home Warranty so that if the bath needs a serious fixture it can be done in the most cost-effective way.
