Rachel Thompson

Spellman Brady & Co. announced that senior designer Rachel Thompson has earned Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification. The Center for Health Design considered Thompson to have a good “understanding of how to base healthcare building design decisions on credible research evidence and project evaluation results” after passing a two-hour and 110 question exam. In order to maintain her accreditation, she must participate in six hours of approved continuing education sessions every two years. Thompson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Interior Design, from Maryville University in St. Louis. Since joining Spellman Brady & Co. eight years ago, she has designed the interiors for over 1,000,000 square feet including BJC Progress West Medical Center in O’Fallon, Miss., and the recent expansion of St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis.
