Novo Nordisk Invests $73 Million in Manufacturing Facility

PRINCETON, N.C. — Global pharmaceutical manufacturer Novo Nordisk is investing $73 million to expand their manufacturing facility in Clayton, N.C. The expansion will accommodate increased capacity for the company’s insulin-delivery devices.
 
Novo Nordisk has more than 420 employees in the Clayton facility who are responsible for the formulation, packaging and distribution of six different diabetes treatment products. The expected expansion will include the addition of two final assembly lines, two packing lines and building refurbishment.
