Joseph M. Serpe
Stalco Construction, Inc., an Islandia, N.Y.-based general contracting and construction management firm, has promoted Joseph M. Serpe to principal.
Serpe’s responsibilities as Principal include the overall management of all Stalco construction operations, supervision of the firm’s project management and superintendent staff, executive management of selected projects, and mentorship of junior project management personnel.
Serpe will also increase his role in developing and implementing Stalco’s business strategy aimed at geographical expansion, business development activities, and growing the firm’s pre-engineered steel structures design/build affiliate, Stalco International Group, a certified designer and builder of American Buildings Company-fabricated projects.
The firm’s current and recent projects include the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center Emergency Department in the Bronx, NY; the SUNY College of Optometry Laboratories in Manhattan; the Maxine S. Postal Tri-Community Health Center in Amityville, NY; the SUNY Farmingdale Dental Hygiene Center in Farmingdale, NY; the MIDI Headquarters and Innovation Center Laboratory in Smithtown, NY; the Health Sciences Library at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY; the DENTSPLY International Inc. research laboratory in Smithtown, NY; and the SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital MRI Suite in Stony Brook, NY.
Serpe is an active member of Contractors For Kids (CFK) and a supporter of Cooley’s Anemia Foundation.
