HMC Architects announced recently that Niki Ward has joined the firm as principal in charge of the firm’s Phoenix Interiors workplace studio. Ward will establish the new Phoenix interiors studio and expand the firm’s focus to other market sectors including sub-acute healthcare, office workspace, and industrial projects. This hire indicates considerable support towards the firm’s standing in the Phoenix market.
Ward has over 18 years of experience in interior design and sees healthcare design evolving from the traditional, sterile healthcare spaces to those that are upscale and aesthetically pleasing with high-end finishes. Previously at McCarthy Nordburg, Colliers International, RJM Construction, and Ware Malcomb, Ward has worked on projects for Coldwell Banker’s headquarters in Phoenix, Charles Schwab, University of Phoenix, Toyota Financial Services, and Uber.
“My goal is to create a solid and successful interiors team and to become an established and highly recognized competitor in the Phoenix market,” said Ward.
