In this role he will oversee all sales and marketing activity for Sterling Dula Railings, Kane Security Screens, Kane Detention and Kane Fabrications. Hines is a building materials veteran and brings 23 years of sales and marketing experience to the team.
Parkland Health & Hospital System has named David Lopez as the permanent Executive Chief Operating Officer (COO) after serving as the interim COO for almost four months. Much of his career has been spent working in public health systems and he shows a commitment to the public health care mission in Texas. Lopez served as COO for four years and CEO for nine years for the Harris County Hospital District in Houston.

Geneia LLC, a health care innovations company specializing in the development and deployment of clinical, analytic and technical solutions for health care, has hired Fred Rahmanian as its new head of technology. Geneia is a subsidiary of Capital BlueCross and located in Swatara Township, Pa. Rahmanian, a data scientist and software architect, comes to Geneia from Massachusetts-based health care data company IBM Watson Health, where he served as the principal data scientist.
The award-winning firm, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, has announced the addition of John P. Mattox, AIA, LEED AP, as director of Strategic Healthcare Initiatives for the growing Healthcare Division. He will assemble a new advisory group for health care strategies, which will be announced in further detail by Carrier Johnson + CULTURE later this year. Esmaeil Porsa, MD, MPH, CCHP-P, CCHP-A, has been named executive vice president and chief strategy and integration officer at the Dallas-based Parkland Health & Hospital System.
