Asante Health System has named Scott Kelly as the new chief executive officer for the Rogue Valley Medical Center. Working for more than 12 years with Asante, Kelly has served as the firm’s chief strategy and business development officer. In his new role, he will keep focus on the company’s goal to improve clinical outcomes and enhance patient experience.
Jason Freeland was promoted to vice president at Heery International, where he will serve as the director of the company’s health facilities design studio in Atlanta. In this role, Freeland will be responsible for strategic direction, marketing and operations for all of the studio’s health care projects.

Waltz has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, including work in the office, energy, retail, health care and education markets.
Christopher Upton, who has joined Taylor as the firm’s new project director, is a Fellow of the American Academy of Medical Administrators, a member and Committee Chair of the Healthcare Design Guideline Committee for the American Hospital Association. He served as head of facilities for a children’s hospital in Atlanta and in a health care architecture practice in Houston, Texas. Upton earned his Bachelor of Architecture for Louisiana State University.
PerfectServe has named a health care industry leader, Leigh Ann Myers, RN, MSN, as vice president and chief clinical officer. In her new role, Myers will provide clinical expertise, vision and insight to the company’s strategic clinical direction and product development. With more than 15 years of health care expertise in quality and performance improvement, Myers comes to the company from PatientSafe Solutions, where she served as a senior clinical product expert.
Mark T. Faulkner was named the chief executive officer of Baptist Health Care and will assume his new role in June 2012. Faulkner became Baptist Hospital vice-president of operations in 2004 after serving as the administrator of the Jay Hospital. He became senior vice president of Baptist Health Care and president of Baptist Hospital in 2006.
Tapati Bose, LEED AP recently became a registered architect. Bose has been with BJAC since 2007, offering services for education, research and municipal projects. Her responsibilities include handling LEED certification process for the North Carolina History Center at Tryon Palace. Currently, she is working on a project involving Hillsborough Hospital.
ETC Building & Design hired Neil Howry as the general superintendent for Northern California. Howry has worked in construction since 1994 when he started as a carpenter. Howry has served as superintendent at Centex Construction in Santa Monica, Calif. and more recently, lead superintendent at Clark Construction in Oakland, Calif.
