Yale Cancer Hospital Earns LEED
NEW HAVEN, Conn. — The Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale-New Haven earned LEED certification in recognition of its sustainable design and construction strategies.
The hospital spans 516,000 square feet and features 14 floors, 168 private patient rooms, 12 operating rooms, radiation therapy and several integrated imaging technologies.

SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco’s Mayor’s office remains in negotiation with the California Pacific Medical Center regarding a $1.1 billion offer from the center to pay for community benefits for the city’s poor and uninsured as part of its effort to gain approval for a proposed Cathedral Hill medical complex and rebuild of St. Luke’s Hospital.
