Huitt-Zollars recently welcomed Phillip Soule, III, AIA, ACHA, DBIA, as a Vice President within the firm’s Institutional practice. Based in the San Diego office, Soule will serve as a Healthcare Lead with a primary focus on advancing growth and opportunities in the San Diego and Houston markets. He will also support healthcare initiatives across the company nationwide.
Soule brings more than 30 years of experience in healthcare architecture, construction and business development to the role. He has led multi-office teams and delivered award-winning projects totaling over $1.3 billion, building strong partnerships and advancing healthcare environments — and also is recognized for his thought leadership, having presented at national conferences such as the Healthcare Facilities Symposium and Expo and the Design-Build Institute of America Conference. He has taught healthcare design as an adjunct professor at NewSchool of Architecture and Design in San Diego.
Soule holds a Bachelor of Science in architecture from The Ohio State University, College of Engineering, School of Architecture.
