Horton Lead-Lined Automatic Slide Doors are designed to meet federal safety standards for X-ray radiation containment in healthcare and industrial facilities. The 1/16” lead lining of the HD-Slide Series 2001-LL Doors offers a superior shield against radiation leakage, providing reliable protection for all building inhabitants.
Tested to 1,000,000 cycles, the Series 2001-LL is capable of handling a weight capacity of up to 500 lbs. per door leaf. The rugged doors with a structural resin core and a 1/16” lead lining are built to last and are backed by a 2-year limited warranty. The doors open with a specifiable “knowing act”, including manual switches, touchless devices, card readers or keypads.
The surface-mounted design is ideal for new and retrofit applications. These customizable doors are commonly found in safety-critical environments such as hospitals, radiology facilities, doctor offices, dental practices, pharmaceutical labs, V.A. clinics and industrial labs. They are available in single slide or biparting configurations and can be fitted with programmable electric locks and battery backups.
