On Nov. 10, Mercy Health will unveil their latest commitment to the health and wellbeing of Ohioans: Mercy Health – West Hospital. The award-winning AECOM-designed 250-bed, five-story hospital was constructed to meet the varied needs of both patients and staff with air quality, proper daylighting strategies and exterior aesthetics in mind. All are virtues of Thermomass insulation systems. The continuous insulation systems for insulated precast concrete wall construction are designed and fabricated to ensure the interior environment is both comfortable and quiet and the envelope exceeds the most stringent energy codes and air and vapor retarder requirements, all going a long way in ensuring patient recovery.
