Mark Chen
Mark Chen has been chosen to represent Heery International as its director of design. There, Chen will be responsible for managing and revitalizing the firm’s design practice on a unified national basis. Coming to Heery from his own firm, Mark Chen Architect, a design and planning consulting firm, based in New York City, Chen has over 30 years of experience as a designer and planner of commercial, education and health care buildings throughout the U.S.
South Coast Improvement Company, a provider of construction and renovation services to senior living and health care facilities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states, named Sean J. Whalen vice president of business development. In his new role, his responsibilities will include building relationships and strategic alliances, overseeing the sales team and expanding the firm’s sales markets.
