AirClean System’s Glycinex neutralizer helps decrease potential vapor exposure hazards from moving and disposing high levels of disinfectants. Specifically developed for post-use neutralization of aldehyde-based chemicals, it works to ensure rapid, non-reversible reactions by means of buffing to create a stable and neutral pH balance within the environment, according to the company. The system offers convenient sized packets, containing pre-measured doses of Glycinex, which is enough to neutralize one quart of 2.6 percent glutaraldehyde or one gallon of 0.55 percent ortho-phthaladehyde (OPA), within five minutes, according to the company. The system does not use corrosive acids or unstable oxidizers and requires no heating for neutralization.
