Centria recently added Marcin Pazera, Ph.D, to their design and development team. Most recently, Pazera was a Senior Engineer with Simpson, Gumpertz & Heger where he used advanced thermal and hygrothermal modeling to evaluate moisture and energy performance of building enclosure systems and assess the quality of indoor environments. Among his many other achievements, he has designed air barrier systems for high-humidity facilities to reduce condensation and improve energy efficiency. Pazera has also held positions as a building science researcher for TI Research and DMO Associates. Pazera received his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University with his thesis on the Development of Experimental Methods for Characterizing Water Vapor Transmission in Building Materials.
