Healthcare and Academic medical designer Cannon Design has appointed architect Natalie R. Petzoldt, AIA, LEED, AP. EDAC, to the position of associate principal. Petzoldt has participated in every phase of project development — from programming through construction.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Ohio State University has received $100 million for a construction project at OSU Medical Center.
The funding, distributed by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), was awarded through a competitive grant program created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010.

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare celebrated the completion of its new, $20.8 million outpatient facility across from Regions Hospital, where they shared operations for 33 years.
Work on the 52,567 square foot facility and $2 million pedestrian bridge running over the main thoroughfare was begun in 2009 by McGough Construction and largely completed by late last year. BWBR Architects designed the facility.
