Translucent Building Systems

Kalwall Corporation manufactures the Kalwall Translucent Wall, Roof and Window System, a translucent fenestration whose primary element is a structural composite sandwich panel formed by bonding formulate fiberglass-reinforced translucent faces to a grid core constructed of interlocked, structural aluminum/composite, thermally broken I beams.

The systems are insulating, diffuse-light transmitting and meet Approval Standard 4881 requirements for wind-load rating, windborne-debris resistance and hail-resistance ratings. Building systems include wall panel systems, curtainwall systems, windows and replacements, standard skylight systems, pre-engineered skylights, custom skyroof systems, walkways and canopies, and structures and large systems.
