Metal Panel Ceiling System

A new horizontal span bar enables Chicago Metallic’s Planostile 2′ x 2′ snap-in metal panel system to meet the requirements of exterior commercial ceiling projects. Architects and designers now have the option to incorporate Planostile into exterior applications by extending an interior application through to the outside for a clean, unbroken look.

The ceiling solution is recommended for exterior soffits, open walkways, porticoes or breezeways. The metal panel ceiling systems come in a variety of materials, finishes, perimeter options and accessories that integrate with a variety of grid suspension systems. Made of recycled content and other materials, the sustainable ceilings can be recycled locally, feature a Class A fire rating and can be manufactured to provide acoustical benefits.
