Chad Boore

Earlier this month, Chad Boore was announced as the new president of Cone Health’s Alamance Regional Medical Center, located in Burlington, N.C., and Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville, N.C. In his new role, Boore will oversee the strategic growth and operational effectiveness of the two hospitals, lead the development of programs and services tailored to the needs of the Burlington and Reidsville communities, and forge partnerships with other leaders across the system.

Boore brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience to the role, including positions in non-profit, for-profit and academic leadership. Most recently, he served as the market chief operating officer for MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a regional health care ministry of Trinity Health. Earlier in his career, Boore was the eastern region chief executive officer for OSF HealthCare in Peoria, Ill., and president of OSF St. Joseph Medical Center.

He earned a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in health care administration from the University of New Orleans as well as a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University.
