Tao Li
Tao Li, medical planner at the global design, architecture, engineering and planning firm HOK, was recently named one of Healthcare Design’s Rising Stars, a prestigious accolade spotlighting innovation in the design leadership space. Li works to create spaces and design solutions that balance functionality and empathy as well as patient needs and staff needs. Li has contributed to several notable projects, such as the Kaiser Permanente’s California Roseville Medical Center’s bed tower expansion, the assessment of over 70 hospitals and clinics at Stanford Children’s Health in California, and the under-construction Kai Tak New Acute Hospital campus in Hong Kong.
