Tom Wood
Knutson Construction has named Tom Wood project executive. In his 11 years with Knutson’s project management team, Wood has contributed to dozens of hospitals and health care projects of various sizes and specialties, according to the firm. His most recent project was as senior project manager on the Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis.
Greg Hamilton
Greg Hamilton, an architect and health care specialist, has joined the Philadelphia practice of Stantec as a senior associate. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Hamilton primarily assists in building projects for hospitals and health care networks. In his new position, Hamilton will help the firm develop new business within the health care market.
Rain Screen
Southern Aluminum Finishing Co. Inc. (SAF) has introduced the new SAF Series M4000 Drained and Back Ventilated Rain Screen. Though similar to the Series 4000, the new series is manufactured with 0.125 aluminum panels instead of Aluminum Composite Material. The new Series M4000 system includes a factory attached frame extrusion to easily fit into the horizontal and vertical track extrusions on the job site, according to the company. The M4000 comes with fabricated panels and track extrusions shipped loose.
Wheelchair Lift
Butler Mobility Products has announced the new Vertical Platform Wheelchair Lifts. The safe and economical solution may be used indoors or outdoors and is a practical alternative to installing slow grade ramps, according to the company. The new residential wheelchair lift applies some of the same features and design concepts used in previous products including the Inclined Platform Lift.
