Precision AirConvey introduces the new Q-Chute load station for automated waste and linen handling systems. It allows the loading, accumulation and staging of bagged refuse and/or soiled laundry by the cartload for time release into a shaft for moving the load into a compactor or laundry room. The chute is set up on each floor of a facility with separate access points, reducing staff work load and the movement of germs and odors.
Tectum Inc. introduces FabriTecTM, fabric-covered wall panels for noise reduction. They offer acoustical and abuse-resistance with a 1/16-inch, 10-pound density fiberglass fabric that is laminated to the face of the panel.
They are flame retardant, anti-microbial and non-allergenic, and constructed of cementitious wood fiber. The product is available in five patterns and 70 colors. Matching fabrics for window treatments, upholstery and other design elements are also available.
Willoughby Industries Inc. introduces an ADA-compliant solid surface shower base with an integral trench drain. It is designed to help eliminate standing water outside of ADA shower bases. The unit is a molded, one-piece design and incorporates a 1-inch-deep drain at the front of the base.
The trench drain is pitched to allow water to drain rather than flow out of the base onto the floor. The product is manufactured with the company’s Aquasurf solid surface.
