Tidi Products LLC introduces a new disposable Blood Pressure Cuff Barrier that is effective against bacteria transmission, according to the company. The self-sticking barrier covers a patient’s upper arm before the application of an aneroid blood pressure cuff. The barrier
is made of a soft, absorbent tissue reinforced by a polyethylene film. The soft tissue side of the barrier is wrapped around the patient’s skin and allows for an accurate blood pressure reading. hinged battery cover hides controls and can be secured with a screw to prevent tampering.
